net2phone Canada Technicians will be performing system maintenance on our Ottawa and Calgary PoPs (points-of-presence) on Thursday, August 18th at 11:00 p.m. EDT.

This maintenance may take up to three hours to complete and is being scheduled on short notice to address a potential performance issue. The following features may experience brief, intermittent interruptions during this window:

Poly Features - Do Not Disturb, Directories, Message Waiting Indicators
SONAR Mobile iOS and Android Apps
SONAR and SONAR Phone
Bria Desktop and Mobile Applications
Panasonic Phones

If you experience any issues, it is recommended to reboot your device and/or perform a logout/login cycle of your net2phone Canada account using the following link https://net2phone.ca/client-login/.

Insights, Huddle, and all inbound and outbound calls on Poly and Yealink devices will operate as normal.

Scheduled - net2phone Canada technicians will be applying an internal configuration change on Friday, August 12th from 6:00am to 7:00am EDT. This configuration change can be applied live and there will be no impact to existing sessions or calls. This update will remedy an issue discovered with assisted transfers and call merging when initiated from SONAR Phone.

Call traffic, Insights, Huddle, and all other net2phone Canada services will operate as normal during this maintenance.

Resolved - At approximately 11:26 a.m. EDT, all active calls that were routing through our Eastern PoP were suddenly terminated. Subsequent calls connected immediately to our Western PoP and have since returned to normal operation through our Eastern PoP.

Investigating - net2phone Canada Technicians have identified an issue affecting inbound and outbound call quality. We are working with our upstream carriers to resolve the issue as soon as possible.

These issues are unrelated to our emergency maintenance window from earlier this morning.

If you have any issues placing or accepting calls via SONAR Phone after this maintenance, please close all SONAR Phone windows, logout of SONAR, restart your browser, before logging back into SONAR via https://net2phone.ca/client-login, and re-launching SONAR Phone.

Scheduled - net2phone Canada technicians will be performing emergency system maintenance to install a vendor supplied patch and configuration change on Wednesday, August 3rd from 5:00am to 6:00am EDT. This update is aimed at improving call traffic handling and stability within our unified IP space.

We are introducing two new hosts for SONAR Phone traffic:
webrtc-pri.versature.com
webrtc-sec.versature.com

While most environments will work without requiring changes to firewalls or other network components, if your firewall or router has outbound traffic blocked by default, please ensure these hosts are added to your allow list. If your network equipment does not allow you to input fully qualified domain names, use the IP addresses these hostnames resolve to (https://academy.versature.com/troubleshooting/optimization-guide-for-enterprise-networks)

If you have any issues placing or accepting calls via SONAR Phone after this maintenance, please close all SONAR Phone windows, logout of SONAR, restart your browser, before logging back into SONAR via https://net2phone.ca/client-login, and re-launching SONAR Phone.
